Present (online): Grand President Paul Lindner, Grand Vice President Keith Hileman, Central Province Councilor Chris Perez, Western Province Councilor Ben Prins, Eastern Province Councilor Mike Votaw.

1. CALL TO ORDER: Grand President Lindner called the Supreme Council to order at 8:36 PM EST on Tuesday December 14, 1999 on the Internet, in the #SigmaPhiDelta chat-room of the CastleNet Internet Relay Chat network. Five members of the Supreme Council were present, and thus a virtual quorum was present.
2. EXECUTIVE SECRETARY/TREASURER: Six votes have been received approving the changes, none opposing. Ballots are due the 15^th of December. These changes should pass. We are still looking for a Fundraising/Merchandising Chair. Anyone interested in this position should contact Grand President Paul Lindner.
3. INTERNSHIP: Three candidates sent in applications for the internship. Tom Mercer, Alix Minden, and Andrew Hoshock. Grand President Paul Lindner asked everyone to read over the applications and email their votes to him by December 15^th by 8:00 PM.
4. EXPANSION: Nothing currently being prepared jointly with AOE. Rutgers has slowed up a little but Keith is working with them. Kappa Chapter is working on setting something up at Rose Hulman. Other prospects include Ohio State (AOE has a colony there in January), UW-Milwaukee, Milwaukee School of Engineering. AOE has been able to expand faster than SPD lately possibly because females are looking for that type of organization and it is just the right time for them.
5. YEAR 2000 JPC: CPC is working with Eta Chapter to see about getting meeting rooms and dorm rooms for the convention. Eta is also getting prices for the hotel for SC and guests. Eta is wondering about the budget. BBQ is usually funded by the chapter. It would be helpful to have an approximation from the chapters about how many people will be attending.
6. CHAPTER VISITATIONS: Paul Lindner will be visiting Theta the second week of January. Phi, Epsilon and Eta will be visiting Minneapolis on January 8. Mike is going to get in touch with Delta, Chi, and Psi to finalize visits this spring.
7. CASTLE: No status on the latest edition of the Castle, Paul will contact Burt for a status update.
8. MISC: Paul Lindner is preparing the solicitation letter to be sent to Alumni. We are targeting sending it out at the end of February or the beginning of March. Next SC meeting will be Thursday January 20, 2000.
9. OTHER BUSINESS: We discussed a motion to give Kappa Chapter an monetary award of $500 ($250 upon initiation, $250 one year later) for their work in establishing Psi chapter last year. Motion to give Kappa Chapter a $500 dollar monetary award for their expansion efforts ($250 upon initiation, $250 one year later). MOTION PASSED
