DESCRIPTION:We hope to see you in Champaign October 26 - 28 for our annualHomecoming celebration - a weekend full of fun activities includingFriday’s happy hour and parade, Saturday’s tailgate, game and lunch, andSunday’s alumni meeting. Rick Woods, treasurer of the Delta AlumniCorporation, is organizing the 30th reunion of the Fall 1982 pledgeclass. Homecoming Schedule of Events:

Friday 10/26
4 p.m. – Happy Hour (FireHaus)

We’ll be meeting at FireHaus on 708 S.6th Street in Campustown to kick off the festivities

6 p.m. - Parade (Campustown) & Pep Rally (Quad)
Step outside of FireHaus to cheer on the SPD float. Then head over theQuad for the pep rally and to watch the actives collect their firstplace Float Competition trophy.

Evening - Meet at the Chapter House to find groups of alumsheading out informally for dinner or for an evening at the Campustownbars. Or just hang out at the house to play cards, relive past memories,and catch up with old friends.

Saturday 10/27

8 a.m. - Tailgate (TBD)
Meet actives and alumni at the chapter house before the game to do sometailgating. Follow the trail of sleepy alumni to a pay-lot near thestadium.

11 a.m. - Illini Football Game vs. Indiana (Memorial Stadium)
There will be plenty of alumni watching the game at the stadium or atthe chapter house, or listening to the game on the radio while theycontinue to enjoy the tailgating experience in the parking lots near thestadium.

3 p.m. - Late Lunch (Chapter House)
Master Chef Jim Callahan will have lunch prepared after the game. Stopby and check out the house and reconnect with fellow alums. Head over tothe Chapter House meet up with groups of alums to head out informallyfor dinner or for an evening at the Campustown bars, or simply stay atthe house to play cards or just catch up.

Sunday 10/28

10 a.m. - Alumni Meeting (Chapter House)
Topics of discussion will include the Chapter House physical plant(recap of summer upgrades, results of this fall’s City inspection),Active Chapter Awards and Scholarships, and Building Fund management.

12 p.m. – Lunch (Chapter House)
Stick around to eat lunch at the house, recap the weekend’s events, andwatch the Bears play the Panthers in the noon game before heading homefor the weekend.
